Western/Mtn Pine Nestbox Kit with Mounting Post
This nestbox is made of solid 3/4-inch thick pine and is shipped as an easy-to-assemble kit. It's dimensions and design fit the NABS specifications and it is designed specifically for the Western and Mountain Bluebird.
In addition to the box itself, this package also comes with our sectional mounting post which includes three 30-inch sections of stout 3/4-inch aluminum conduit, all the hardware for assembly, a pre-assembled mounting mechanism for attaching the post to the nestbox, and basic assembly instructions for the post (and the nestbox). With this choice, you don't have to worry about going to the hardware store, cutting aluminum, or finding the right hardware to attach the box to the post. It's all conveniently included.
Important features of the nestbox are: standard side-panel opening, drainage holes on the floor, ventilation holes on the upper sides, a predator guard, sloped roof to reduce weathering on the roof over time, and a 1 9/16-inch entrance hole.
