Western/Mtn Pine Fully Assembled Nestbox w/ Mounting Post
This option gives you everything you need in one package. You get a very solid 3/4-inch pine fully-assembled nestbox, our sectional mounting post with all necessary hardware, and for just $3.00 more, our exclusive Bluebird Monitor's Pocket Field Book (highly recommended). You don't have to worry about going to the hardware store, or cutting aluminum, or devising a way to attach your nestbox to a post. It is all included.
The sectional mounting post is 3/4-inch aluminum conduit and comes in three 30-inch sections with all the hardware and basic assembly instructions included.
The 36-page optional pocket-guide is designed to aid the bluebird monitor in the field. It is professionally printed and exclusive to Backroads Bluebird Boxes (click on the inset photo to see).
Important features of this nest box are: standard side-panel opening, drainage holes on the floor, ventilation holes on the upper sides, a predator guard, sloped roof to reduce weathering on the roof over time, and a 1 9/16-inch entrance hole.
