Backroads Bluebird Boxes, a division of Boldernet, LLC, is based in Erie, Colorado, 10 miles east of Boulder and 25 miles north of Denver. Our bluebird box production shop is located at the base of the beautiful Sangre De Cristo Mountains near the town of Salida, Colorado. The picture below is from our bluebird trail near our production shop in late Spring.

Linda Geiling, our bluebird expert and advisor, has monitored her own bluebird trail for the past ten years. All of her nest boxes have provided shelter, safety and comfort for numerous pairs of both Western and Mountain Bluebirds and their offspring. The nest boxes used on our trail are the same boxes we make available on our website. While we can't guarantee that you will have bluebirds, we proudly stand behind the quality of our boxes which are compliant with North American Bluebird Society (NABS) specifications.

Linda also volunteers as a bluebird conservation expert with the Colorado Division of Wildlife. As a business, we are also a member of the North American Bluebird Society (NABS).
Doug Geiling, Linda's son, is the Founder and President of Boldernet, LLC, the parent company of Backroads Bluebird Boxes. He started out selling decorative map and travel products online. Now, Boldernet, LLC has three divisions. It remains a small, but growing company.
